Go Raibh Maith Agat [Thank you in Irish Gaelic] .... to Festival Foods, our very own local grocery store, for their generous donation of Next Wave Seafood mussels (formerly Bantry Bay Seafoods) to the La Crosse Bantry Friendship Association and to our hungry fans and friends!

Each year, the La Crosse Bantry Friendship Association cooks and shares delicious Atlantic mussels - either Tomato and Garlic OR Garlic Butter - with Fest-goers to bring a taste of Bantry Bay* and Irish cuisine to La Crosse. We thank Festival Foods for its generosity in donating 10 cases of mussels to our group and to our fans again this year. We have many guests who come back to our booth year after year for these mussels - remember, Next Wave Seafood mussels are available year round at your local Festival Foods grocery store.

At Irishfest, for a sample - or two! - of these yummy and nutritious mussels, the LBFA gladly accepts monetary donations. All monies support LBFA and our work with global initiatives.

Festival Foods shows its commitment to Community Involvement in many ways. From their website: We have a deep sense of community pride and responsibility, which is why at, Festival Foods, we are dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities we serve. We believe being a good neighbor means being a good active member of our community.

Again, to Festival Foods, we say Go Raibh Maith Agat! [Thank you!]

See you Friday, August 12, at the 2022 Irishfest - La Crosse!

*Next Wave mussels are grown and harvested from the Atlantic waters off the coast of southern Chile.
